Dei Furbi company, inheritating the irreverent and provocative tradition of comedy, is defined from its beginnings by the way it creates collectively. Researching into a theatrical practice that looks at the actor as the centre, subject and object of the dramatic action.
The company highlights its vitality, energy and rhythm in the use of a broad range of acting resources such as dance, a cappella singing, fencing and masks always mixed with physical theatre and classical acting. It’s career is based on creating through reviewing, updating and often corrupting universal themes in a tone that’s deliberately comical and at the same time profoundly human.
From its beginnings Dei Furbi’s style full of humor and accuracy has connected with critics and audiences.
